Lutherans Outdoors in South Dakota (LO) operates five unique camps that are located across South Dakota, NeSoDak, Klein Ranch, Outlaw Ranch, Atlantic Mountain Ranch, and Joy Ranch. The congregations of the South Dakota Synod, ELCA; own these camps; but, LO camps serve multiple denominations. Lutheran Outdoors in South Dakota’s administrative office is located on the campus of Augustana College in the Chapel building, Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Lutheran Social Services (LSS) of South Dakota responds to changing needs in South Dakota communities, headquarters located in Sioux Falls. LSS is one of the largest private non-profit social service agencies in South Dakota. LSS serves people of all ages, faiths, races and economic status with professional, confidential and affordable services. Although the administration of a specific program or service may be based in one central location, keep in mind that many LSS services are offered statewide.
